Alberta Group Campground Reservations begin February 13, 2012

Morning!January 30, 2012 ….. Alberta campers wishing to book a group use area at one of Alberta’s Provincial Park campgrounds can do so beginning on Monday February 13, 2012 at 9:00 am. Reservations at the group use areas can be made for the entire camping season by either going online at Reserve.AlbertaPark.ca or calling 1-877-537-2757.

The group use areas can be used by a small group of friends wishing to have their own space to enjoy, a family reunion, a wedding or even larger events like club get togethers.

Some of the guidlines for the group use areas are;

Group camping area reservations can be made up to 24 hours in advance of 4 p.m. of the scheduled arrival date.

The maximum stay in a group camping area is five (5) consecutive nights.

A minimum of two (2) consecutive nights (Friday/Saturday) is required to reserve a group camping area on a weekend (including long weekends).

Only one (1) group camping area can be reserved per transaction.

There is no limit to the number of transactions that can be made.

A confirmed reservation is not transferable from one group to another.

Camping conditions are highly variable throughout the season; therefore the reservation fee and change fees are non-refundable (except in the case of a group campground closure).

Account holders are responsible for the actions of all camping party members and visitors to the campground.

Group camping area reservations can only be changed or cancelled by the account holder or a pre-authorized designate.

Guaranteed check-in is 4 p.m.

Check-out time is 2 p.m.
