Elbow Valley Campgrounds 2011 Opening Dates & Pricing

Here are the 2011 opening dates and pricing for Elbow Valley Campgrounds.

The following Elbow Valley Campgrounds are operated by Kananaskis Country Campgrounds.

All are offerred on a first come first serve basis, except for McLean Creek Campground, 41 sites at Little Elbow Campground and 24 campsites at Little Elbow Equestrian Campground which can be reserved through the Alberta Parks reservation system.

Reservations begin February 1st for group campsites and February 22nd for the remainder of the Campground.

Elbow Valley Campgrounds Opening Dates and Pricing

  • Gooseberry Campground – April 28 – October 10 – 83 sites – no power – $23 – $21 2nd unit

  • McLean Creek Campground – Year Round – 74 sites – no power – $23 – $21 2nd unit
  • McLean Creek Campground – Year Round – 96 sites – 30 amp power – $29 – $27 2nd unit
  • (one loop open during the winter months on a first come first served basis – power only)

  • Paddy’s Flat Campground – May 13 – Sept 26 – 98 sites – no power – $23 – $21 2nd unit

  • Beaver Flats Campground – May 15 – Sept 5 – 55 sites – no power – $23 – $21 – 2nd unit

  • Little Elbow Campground – May 15 – Sept 26 – 94 sites – no power – $23 – $21 2nd unit
  • Little Elbow Equestrian Campground – May 18 – Oct 10 – 46 sites – no power – $29 – $27 2nd unit

    • Reservations at McLean Creek, Little Elbow and Little Elbow Equestrian Campgrounds can be made online on Alberta Park’s reservation system at www.reserve.albertaparks.ca. The remainder of the campsites are on a first come first served basis.
